What Are Decimal Words?
Decimals can be written as numbers (like 0.75) or in words (like "seventy-five hundredths").
When we write decimals in words, we say the whole number part first (if there is one), then "and", then the decimal part as if it were a fraction. The last word tells us the place value of the last digit.
How to Read Decimal Words
1️⃣ Find the "and" - it separates whole numbers from decimals
2️⃣ Read the decimal part like a fraction (tenths, hundredths, etc.)
3️⃣ Combine them to make the complete decimal number
