Numbers are like secret codes!
Every digit in a number has a special place that tells us its value. The digit on the right is in the "ones" place, and the digit to its left is in the "tens" place. When we underline a digit, we're focusing on its special place value!
How to Find the Value of an Underlined Digit
1️⃣ Look at the position of the underlined digit
2️⃣ Identify if it's in the tens or ones place
3️⃣ Calculate its value: tens digit × 10 or ones digit × 1
