Numbers are like puzzles - there are many ways to put them together!
When we talk about "ways to make a number," we mean all the different addition and subtraction combinations that give us the same answer. For example, you can make 10 with 5+5, 6+4, 7+3, 15-5, and many more!
How to Find Different Ways
1️⃣ Start with addition: Think of two numbers that add up to your target
2️⃣ Try subtraction: Find a bigger number minus a smaller number that equals your target
3️⃣ Use patterns: If 20+30=50, then 21+29=50 too!
