Skip-counting Sequences

Counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s is fun when you see the patterns!

What is Skip-counting?

Skip-counting is like taking big jumps with numbers!
Instead of counting 1, 2, 3, 4, we can count by 2s (2, 4, 6, 8) or by 5s (5, 10, 15, 20). It helps us count faster and discover cool number patterns.

How to Skip-count

1️⃣ Choose your step: Decide if you're counting by 2s, 5s, or 10s

2️⃣ Start at a number: Begin with your starting number (like 0 or 5)

3️⃣ Keep adding: Add your step number each time to continue the sequence

Let's Practice Together!
