What is Skip-counting?
Skip-counting is like taking big jumps with numbers!
Instead of counting 1, 2, 3, 4..., we can count by 2s (2, 4, 6, 8...) or by 5s (5, 10, 15, 20...). It helps us count faster and is super useful for learning multiplication later!
How to Solve Skip-counting Puzzles
1️⃣ Find the pattern - Look at the numbers you have
2️⃣ Count the jumps - Are we adding 2, 5, or 10 each time?
3️⃣ Fill in the blanks - Use the pattern to find missing numbers

Parent Tips 🌟
- Make it musical: Sing skip-counting songs together (like "5, 10, 15, 20...") to make it memorable
- Use real objects: Count groups of items (like pairs of socks for counting by 2s or fingers for counting by 5s)
- Turn it into a game: Have your child hop or jump while skip-counting to add movement to learning
